We’ve been organizing and guiding bike trips for 17 years. These are certainly challenging times for our industry, our community, and our travelers. But we have faced challenges before, which is why we know that travel will persist as it always has.
Our team is committed to offering a safe and clean experience as well as flexibility and support. Our priority is not only allowing our travelers to choose what is best for them, but also adhering to widespread travel restrictions that protect the health and safety of our guests, partners, staff, and guides.
We want to thank you for your support and personally update you about traveling with us and the steps we are taking to ensure you have the trip of a lifetime.
Cycling is the best and safest way to travel. While cycling is, in itself, considered a safe way to travel, we’ve established several measures to keep you safe on our bike tours in Portugal
We are a “Clean and Safe” company, following protocols created by the Portuguese National Tourism Board, “Turismo de Portugal”. We make sure to clean and disinfect all bikes and gear used on our tours before and after, hand out disinfectant, face masks and other safety gear to our staff and guests during van transfers throughout the ride or airport transfers. The hotels, restaurants and other providers for your tour follow the same “Clean and Safe” standards we do.
Choose a private tour, guided or self guided. Choose your date and trip and we’ll organize it for you. Or you can also have a custom trip designed exactly to your interests Family and friends that play together stay together.
Ready-to-Book private tours are designed to be enjoyed just like that, but there is room for minor adjustments to fit the trip to your needs. If the gap is too great, then we’d be happy to tailor-make you a Bespoke trip from scratch. Simply tell us a few details about your group and select your preferred date. Either Vitor or Gonçalo will create it for you, confirming the details or exploring alternatives, over the next 48 hours.
You can also join our group tours, which are limited to eight guests each in order to provide a safer experience and full service to our guests.
We ride on quiet backroads, rural small roads and sometimes sections of bike paths, avoiding cars and other traffic. Small hotels and local producers, as well as handpicked restaurants owned by people we mostly call by their first name. We will introduce you to our friends – wine producers, small hotel owners, artisans, farmers who welcome us to their “homes”, workshops and farms.
